This mode features an “ego meter” instead of hearts. Your ego meter will gradually lower (or raise) to 25%, and can be refilled by collecting yorbs and killing Kranibots. When you max it out, you will become temporarily invincible to pretty much everything except crushing and falling off a pit. You even become immune to drowning! You do have to be pretty quick to keep maintaining this invincibility though, so you’re effectively a glass cannon. This mode is surprisingly fun and I hope you’ll enjoy it when it drops later this month.
