Windows Defender shenanigans Part 2

I’ve tried to fix the Windows Defender issue but it appears all I’ve done is prevent the file from being deleted, maybe? Idk. If this problem happens to you, the only thing I can suggest is unzipping the zip file the game comes in again (to get the game back, if it gets deleted) and then whitelisting it with Windows Defender, for now. I’d have to pay hundreds of dollars for a windows certification otherwise and sadly I don’t have that kind of money!

Next update I will most likely have to include a VM build. For those who don’t know how Game Maker works, you can compile your game as either a VM build or a YYC build. VM is the default; the game’s code runs in a virtual machine. This is used by most games including Undertale. The virtual machine is signed by YoYo Games so it won’t get deleted. On the other hand, YYC compiles the game as C++ code, giving it a massive speed boost and helping it run more efficiently. This is what I used for Ultimate Edition to prevent lag, but due to being unsigned it very rarely runs into issues with Windows Defender on only very specific PC’s for reasons I cannot seem to figure out—it is genuinely a total crapshoot as to why WD flags it as malware on these computers.
